Most “best EHS software” roundups are written for someone sitting at a desk. That is not where the hard part of manufacturing safety lives.

The hard part is the welder on the night shift who has no company email, the contractor who shows up for one shutdown and needs a permit and a hazard briefing before they touch anything, and the question every safety manager eventually has to answer for an auditor: can you prove the people on the floor actually received the training and understood it? What “frontline-first” EHS software has to do well

Not good for: High-hazard permit-to-work that must enforce a sequence of approvals and isolations. SafetyCulture records permits but does not strictly enforce the sign-off order, which matters for hot work and confined space entry.

It bundles safety, chemical management, sustainability, and learning into modules that go live in weeks rather than quarters.
